THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Welcome back. We have two breaking news stories we're working for you right now. The first, if you were with us, you heard Bill Hemmer report from Kandahar.
The first group of detainees, a group of 20 detainees have left Kandahar, loaded on to a military plane. They are making their way to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where the U.S. Navy is setting up a maximum security prison there.
The other story we are following for you, the crash of an F-16 jet. It was on a flight over the state of New Jersey. We are getting word that it crashed in the southern part of New Jersey, and the first pictures live and from the crash site, we are just starting to get in through one of our affiliates. It crashed in Ocean County.
Also hearing from the National Guard that the pilot ejected from this craft and it was a safe ejection. He was clear of the aircraft. The Pentagon says this plane was on a routine training mission. There will, of course, be an investigation of this crash.
