Missing School Bus Found in Maryland

LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: We want to update you folks on the mystery of the missing school bus. This case we've following this afternoon from Oley Township, Pennsylvania. The school bus was supposed to be taking these children to Berks Christian School, Berks County Christian School. As you see here, these children are actually now in Landover Hills, Maryland. The bus driver has been arrested.

The children you see here -- this scene happened just moments ago -- they are leaving the school bus that they were in that was -- their school system school bus. They are now walking on to a Prince George's County, Maryland school bus. We understand that they are being taken to the police precinct there in Maryland and they are going to be reunited with their parents there. The parents are still back up in Oley Township, Pennsylvania, and they are preparing to hop on buses of their own and ride down with police to pick the children up. And then, they will go back tonight and they will be interviewed by the police department to find out exactly what happened.

The last word that we had gotten from our Kathleen Koch who is there on the scene and who is with the crew shooting these pictures told us that this bus driver apparently turn himself into police, pulled up to a cruiser there in Landover Hills, Maryland, a cruiser that was parked, and turned himself in. And they found a shotgun or some kind of a rifle or something onboard this bus. No word yet on exactly what that was all about. But of course we are still trying to cull the details and once we get them, we'll deliver them to you.
