LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: Well, we got one more developing story here. That story was in the air, this one is on the ground out at a airport, at Balshing -- at, sorry -- Baltimore Washington International.
You see a live picture here from BWI. A rather foggy picture there, but can't hardly see the terminal or anything in that picture. But let me tell you about what happened inside there.
As we understand it, we have reports that 1,500 passengers were evacuated off of the concourse there, off of what's known as a pier there, as well as on board five planes for Southwest Airlines.
Apparently someone there breached security. There was an incident at a security checkpoint. We still don't know exactly what happened there. But, as a result of this -- this happened at what's known as Pier B, here at this airport -- they have shut down that particular pier, and they now have got the planes pretty much cordoned off.
And we understand they now have bomb sniffing dogs there on the pier. We don't know if they're on the planes at all, but they are somewhere on the pier. That's the latest report that we have right now.
No other word on the status of the 1,500 people. We don't know if they are still inside or if the police were actually going through the crowd. They're trying to find whoever it was that breached security or whatever.
But, again, once these details come to us, we'll bring them to you. And we thank our affiliate WMAR for these pictures here to go along with that story.
