United Airlines Makes Tentative Deal With Mechanics Union

BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Getting word out of Chicago right now relative to the mechanics who work for United Airlines. Apparently, according to the AP, Associated Press, United Airlines has announced a tentative deal with the union that represents about 13,000 mechanics and aircraft cleaners. This, as of today, on Monday. There was a strike set for about 36 hours from now. So, apparently, that strike has been averted. That airlines coming to agreement there the union that represents its mechanics and aircraft cleaners. Again, the story out of Chicago.
