THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: Paula, I want to update the situation now from Jerusalem.
The story has not gotten any better. Israeli television right now reporting at least seven are dead, at least 45 injured. And oftentimes in cases like these, those numbers change, and sometimes quite dramatically.
But seven dead right now, according to television reports in Israel, at least 45 other wounded after an explosion went off at Hebrew University in Mount Scopis right in the central part of Jerusalem.
All this happening within the past hour. Classes were not in session, we're told, but students were taking exams.
In a moment, live to Jerusalem for Mike Hanna, our bureau chief there, and Jerrold Kessel, who has arrived at the scene. We'll have that for you when we come back here.
