Amber Alert Issued for Missing 10-year-old Girl

CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: We've been working on some breaking news out of the CNN center, to Riverside, California, where a statewide "Amber Alert" has been issued now for a missing 10-year-old girl. Her name is Nicole Taylor Timmons. She is a white female, 4 feet 6 inches tall, her disappearance under very unusual circumstances.
Her mother put her to bed, last saw her at 10:30 last night, and this morning went in to check on her at about 7:15, and she was gone.

According to the police press release out of Riverside, California, the child was in her bedroom, which has a rear access door to the backyard. This door was found unlocked, as well as the rear gate to the yard. The residence does back up to a large apartment complex and an open field.

And police right now are looking for two men, including Nicole's father, Ralph Timmons, who was scheduled to leave the country on a trip today, and a family friend, Glenn Park, who is maybe the driver of a blue and white 1982 Dodge pickup.

You are looking at shots of the scene there of a very large home there and the backyard of Nicole Timmons.

Police reiterate that these two men are not considered suspects. They simply want to talk to them. But there is the best picture that we have of Nicole Timmons right now.
