LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: We were able to get back ahold of our Gary Tuchman. He was traveling to Mossy Grove, that area that we were just watching on tape a little ago.
Gary's now with us on the phone from there -- Gary.

GARY TUCHMAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Leon and Daryn, let me just tell you first of all, Mossy Grove is not -- initial word from the police and people (UNINTELLIGIBLE) -- get here to confirm that assessment. We can tell you that (UNINTELLIGIBLE) still stand. There are people standing around their (UNINTELLIGIBLE). However, there is massive damage to many of the houses.

HARRIS: Gary, if you can hear us, we're having a problem with the cell that you're in right now. If you could just move a little bit and maybe we can get you into a better cell area, because your phone call is dropping in and out. We don't want to lose you right now.

TUCHMAN: Leon, can you hear me right now?

HARRIS: Got you now. That's much better.

TUCHMAN: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) phone services. They were relying on the primitive cell phone technology which comes and goes.

Very quickly, there's a lot of damage in Mossy Grove, but the town itself (UNINTELLIGIBLE) people here, the (UNINTELLIGIBLE) town was obliterated. (UNINTELLIGIBLE) hyperbole. (UNINTELLIGIBLE) wonderment looking at the other houses (UNINTELLIGIBLE) heavy damage (UNINTELLIGIBLE).

HARRIS: Gary, once again -- I'm sorry, Gary, once again we're losing you. At least we did good some of that. Gary, we'll let you get to another area, and maybe we can get a better call there from Mossy Grove, because we want to get firsthand report from what's happening there.
