Iranian Plane Crashes Carrying More Than 250

KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: We're continuing to follow the breaking news story, the plane crash in Iran. This is what we can tell you so far: that a plane carrying at least 250 people crashed in southeastern Iran. The Antonov plane was on a domestic flight from Zahedan on the Pakistan border to Kerman about 500 miles southeast of Tehran.
The plane lost contact with the control tower, and crashed near Shasad (ph), not far from from Kerman. No other details are immediately available. All we can tell you right now is that a plane, an Antonov plane, carrying at least 250 people crashed in southeastern Iran, a passenger plane, we are told.
