CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Just about two hours ago, a huge truck bomb went off outside of the Jordanian embassy in Iraq. We're just getting these video phone pictures in right now. We wanted you to have a look at them.
The scene is pretty chaotic right now. You can see the U.S. military surrounding the embassy. At least nine people have been killed, most of them, we believe, are Iraqi police officers. We don't know about any injuries to any Americans.
Harris Whitbeck is live in Baghdad. He will join us in just a few minutes to tell us more.
Perhaps an interesting twist to this, after that bomb went off, some Iraqis rushed into the Jordanian embassy and began looting it, in fact, tearing down pictures of King Hussein and King Abdullah.
We'll have much more on this in just minutes when Harris Whitbeck gets his microphone on and gets into place.
