BILL HEMMER, CNN ANCHOR: A developing story out of Baghdad. Yet again, I want to repeat the word we're getting based on reports in central Baghdad. The Turkish embassy there has been the scene of violence. Earlier today, a suicide bomber, the reports say, blew himself up outside the Turkish embassy in Baghdad. Reports, early reports say two Turkish embassy employees have been injured. Nothing more on it than that.
But it was about a week ago when the Turkish parliament did approve dispatching Turkish troops to Iraq to help with the reconstruction and rebuilding effort there. A source of contention in many parts of Iraq, especially in the northern part, with the Kurdish population there. Whether or not that goes through at some point is not clear today and whether or not that has anything to do with this suicide bombing today not clear also.
What we do know, though, is that reports say a suicide bomber blew himself up outside the embassy.
When we get more, we'll bring it to you.
Right now two reports of injuries there.
