SOLEDAD O'BRIEN, CNN ANCHOR: We've got some breaking news at this hour out of Baghdad. Reports of a big explosion there.
Let's go live to Harris Whitbeck, who is in Baghdad for us -- Harris, good morning.
HARRIS WHITBECK, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Soledad.
Just about 15 minutes ago, a large explosion was heard in Baghdad. Our colleagues at CNN Turk are reporting that the explosion was, in fact, at the Turkish embassy here in the Iraqi capital.
We're still checking into that. We will have more for you as soon as we can independently confirm that.
Again, CNN Turk is reporting that an explosion was heard and took place at the Turkish embassy in Baghdad -- Soledad.
O'BRIEN: All right, obviously Harris will get an update on casualties and overall devastation from that big blast, as it's been described.
Harris Whitbeck for us in Baghdad. He'll do a little more looking into that story and get back with us in just a little bit.
