FREDRICKA WHITFIELD, CNN ANCHOR: President Bush is monitoring the nation's terror status from his ranch in Texas. He's spending a quiet Memorial Day weekend there, mindful of the orange alert. CNN White House correspondent Chris Burns is there, as well.
Hello, Chris.
CHRIS BURNS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, hi, Fredricka. President Bush got his usual intelligence briefing, but even senior administration officials couldn't tell me exactly what was in the briefing. They'd probably have to kill me first before they'd tell me. They -- it's very, very top secret what the president hears every morning about intelligence, but he did get that regular briefing today. He's also clearing brush today, he's work out, exercising, he's spending a relaxing day with friends and family and that's about it. Tomorrow, he's going to be returning back to Washington in time for Memorial Day ceremonies to lay a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery, as the president usually does on Memorial Day. Apart from that the president spending a quiet weekend here -- Fredricka.
WHITFIELD: Now, Chris, the president, of course, is still applauding Congress, if you will, about the tax cut plan. What more is he saying about that?
BURNS: Well, absolutely. This Saturday's weekly radio address focuses on the tax cut, the president claiming it as a victory for himself, but also for millions of Americans.

GEORGE W. BUSH, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES: This achievement is a victory for every family struggling to pay the bills, Every entrepreneur hoping to expand the business and create new jobs, and every American looking for work.
