ANDREA KOPPEL, CNN ANCHOR: The latest now, on the sexual assault case against Kobe Bryant. The judge in the case has made some key rulings as more information is leaked about the basketball player's accuser. CNN's Josie Burke is live from Eagle County, Colorado with developments -- Josie.
JOSIE BURKE, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Andrea, we've had some rather chilling developments in this case, a case that has already shown that it is going to get very personal. We're seeing now, that doesn't relate only to Kobe Bryant and the alleged victim, but also to the district attorney in this case, Mark Hurlbert, he has been getting death threats since July 4th when he arrested Kobe Bryant. But those death threats have escalated to the point where his spokeswoman has confirmed that yesterday his August -- his office in Eagle had to be on lockdown and anyone who wanted to enter that office had to first identify himself or herself before being granted entry. Also, the district attorney's spokeswoman confirmed the FBI and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation are both now looking into those death threats.

We also learned this week that the judge who is presiding over the August 6 hearing for Kobe Bryant issued what he did not term exactly a gag order, but an order regarding pretrial publicity, trying to clamp down on some of the comments being made by everyone involved in this case, from the lawyers to the potential witnesses. But yesterday, that judge also issued his orders regarding whether or not there will be a camera allowed in the courtroom, and his answer was, yes, there will be a live audio feed on August 6 along with one still camera and one video camera in the courtroom -- Andrea.

KOPPEL: Josie Burke in Eagle, Colorado, thanks very much.
