CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: Michael Jackson's legal troubles could be going from bad to worse. Questions about the custody of his three children are emerging. CNN's Miguel Marquez is in Henderson, Nevada with the very latest from there. Hi there, Miguel.
MIGUEL MARQUEZ, CNN CORRESPONDENT: How are you there, Carol? There are all sorts of stuff going on legally with Mr. Jackson, obviously. We understand and there are conflicting reports about a possible meeting between him and his attorney Mark Geragos today. The question and some of the confusion, as with so many things with this story, is whether that meeting will take place here in Las Vegas, or at his Neverland Ranch or some other location. But we do understand that he may be meeting with him today. The other thing that we understand about Mr. Geragos, Mr. Jackson's spokesperson saying that Mr. Geragos has been retained by Mr. Jackson for several months as a consultant, but obviously took over duties for this case this week when the news broke.

The Jackson family is also here in Vegas and they are closing ranks behind their brother Michael Jackson, frustrated to see him handcuffed and his mug shot all over the press. And they say that he is innocent and that they will stand behind him and fight for him. His fans are also fighting for him as well.

CROWD: Michael, Michael, Michael.

MARQUEZ: That is a vigil, a rather rowdy vigil in Paris in the Champs Elysee in front of the Virgin record store. The French there friends of Michael Jackson shouting Michael, Michael innocent. These sort of demonstrations are planned for New York, and London, and San Francisco, and Phoenix, and also right here in Las Vegas as well for later today. We may see a bit more on that. Santa Barbara sheriff's office and the DA's office they are still saying that formal charges against Mr. Jackson will not be filed until after Thanksgiving -- Carol..

LIN: All right, Miguel Marquez live in Henderson, Nevada.
