UNIDENTIFIED KNTV REPORTER (voice-over): Union Avenue Liquors owner Alex Wang never dreamed he'd sell a winning lottery ticket this size, $141 million.
ALEX WANG, STORE OWNER: I'm surprised. Surprised. I didn't know it at all until I pulled in the parking lot. I saw a whole bunch of people outside waiting, and I said uh-oh. Something happened.
UNIDENTIFIED KNTV REPORTER: All day, Wang's customers lined up to check their lucky numbers. Statewide, sales hit $43 million on Saturday. That's about 84,000 tickets sold each minute and big bucks.
WANG: $300, $400 one purchase.
UNIDENTIFIED KNTV REPORTER: There were lots of $2 and $3 winners, but the bucks stopped there for the most part. Greg Burcatt bought $100 worth of tickets for the guys at work.
GREG BURCATT, $4 WINNER: I don't think the guys at work know this is store where I bought the tickets at, where I bought our tickets at. Unfortunately, we didn't hit it. It looks like I'll be working tomorrow.
UNIDENTIFIED KNTV REPORTER (on camera): Are you disappointed it's not the $140 million.
STEPHANIE ERICKSON, $2 WINNER: Yes, very, very disappointed. $2 isn't much.
UNIDENTIFIED KNTV REPORTER: But you still won?
ERICKSON: Right, I won. UNIDENTIFIED KNTV REPORTER (voice-over): Wang has run the store for 27 years. He has a $195,000 winner once. This time, he gets $750,000 for selling the winning ticket. There no plans to retire here yet.
WANG: I like people, and I'm too young. I can still go for another five, six or seven years.

LIN: I'm sure KNTV's reporter Greg Roulet is going to be standing by for the big winner today, and we'll bring it to you as soon as we find out who it is.
