BRIAN NELSON, CNN ANCHOR: Every week at this time, I understand you do a segment called "Surfing Into Saturday."
CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: Yes.
NELSON: And so since, we're heading into the Fourth, we thought we would take a look at a few sites devoted to the Fourth or something that people like to do.
LIN: Do you hear that pounding?
NELSON: Yes. People like fireworks, don't they?
LIN: Yes.
NELSON: Well, there's a site here called fireworks.com that we found, which is really very interesting because it gives you an option to look at how a fireworks display is put together.
Now, here it -- we've left it on automatic here, but this is really interesting. You can choose if you want -- go back and put this on manual.
LIN: So this is customizing your own fireworks's show on the Internet.
NELSON: Yes. And there are apparently about five elements to a successful pyrotechnic show. One is called the Willow. Let's hit that one. And that's the willow fireworks. This is the salute -- the palm -- there you have it.
LIN: All right, so different forms and...
NELSON: Yes.
LIN: ... you can kind of create your own show.
NELSON: Yes, so, if you're really looking for a fireworks show ahead, you can go on this -- hit "Auto Start."
LIN: Sound-effects free.
NELSON: And it'll go all by itself. And then you hit "The Finale." LIN: Nice creation, Brian.
All right, if you can't see the real thing then you can see it on the Web and you can produce it yourself.
NELSON: Isn't that pretty good?
LIN: Right. What if you want to learn a little bit more about fireworks safety?
NELSON: Now, the safety issue is another one here that we want to talk about. Here's a site called The National Council on Fireworks Safety. If you're going to be doing any fireworks yourself on the Fourth -- with kids around, especially -- you might want to check this site out. It's animated for children. So it's really good.
Now, the other thing that people do on the Fourth of July is drink beer. And I've had a few tips myself. And this site...
LIN: A little research.
NELSON: This site is called Beerismylife.com. Believe it or not, this is a gentlemen who's an employee of a brewery in Northern Wisconsin. He says he has tried since 1992 -- get this -- 3,853 beers. He's tasted them all personally.
He has got them all listed here, alphabetically by brewery, by style. And he's not kidding around. And every one of the beers -- when this comes up you will see it -- every one of the beers has a personal notation. So this man knows what he's doing.
LIN: Oh, so he's grading them.
NELSON: Yes, he's grading them. The best beer gets 20 points. The lowest gets 18. But all of them are apparently good. And if I hit one here, you'll see -- there's his notes -- "dark," "golden," "very hazy," "good hit."
So if you're really into beer and you want to try something different for this July 4...
LIN: On a scale of 1 to 16, 16 being the best...
NELSON: Yes, that's the site.
LIN: This one got 15. It says Belgian French Ale.
NELSON: Yes.
LIN: Not bad.
NELSON: And the last one here is the blood alcohol level. This site is factsontap.org. It's a scale of how many drinks you can have depending on your weight that won't bring you over the DUI limit.
LIN: All right, Brian, thanks for the tips. And maybe we can leave them with some fireworks that we're going to be...
NELSON: Let's do that just before you go. A little fireworks, here we go.
