CAROL LIN, CNN ANCHOR: The disappearance of Washington intern Chandra Levy remains a mystery, but police were walking through Washington parks again yesterday in a search of clues.

CNN national correspondent Eileen O'Connor brings us up to date.

Eileen, at what point do they call it a day and give up on the search in these parks?

EILEEN O'CONNOR, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT: Well, they say they're not going to give up searching these parks until they have actually searched the entire park, Rock Creek Park. It's about 2,000 acres or at least the areas that they say they are most interested in.

And now they're also turning their attention again to Congressman Gary Condit. Representatives of Congressman Gary Condit say he will cooperate with police in their request for another interview and another polygraph. His lawyer stresses that the congressman is not considered a suspect and says he passed a lie detector test already but that test was administered privately. And police say they have some specific questions they want answered to aid in the investigation. No agreement as to when an interview or another lie detector test will be held has been reached.

Now, police continue to search those area parks. They will make their way through Rock Creek Park. Police say they're working along jogging paths and roads, looking for signs of a struggle or someone's attempt to hide a body. They're mostly interested in Rock Creek Park, they say, because Chandra Levy's computer indicated -- she pulled up maps of some areas in the park. The Washington intern disappeared about three months ago.

Congressman Gary Condit, according to police sources, has admitted a romantic relationship with her, but his lawyer insists he was not involved in her disappearance. Now, a lawyer for his brother, Darrell, in police custody in Florida for a parole violation, says there is no truth to any reports that anyone in the Condit family knows about Chandra Levy's whereabouts.

JOHN SALE, DARRELL CONDIT'S ATTORNEY: The concern we have is because this inaccurate information is floating around about Darrell. How much of the information about the congressman is inaccurate? How much of it is just out there for the sake of it being out there? We urge everyone to do constructive things, everything possible to find this young woman. But my client just has no information that can contribute in that endeavor.

O'CONNOR: Meanwhile, the Levy family waits. They say they just want to get their daughter back home safely -- Carol.

LIN: All right, thank you very much, Eileen O'Connor reporting in, keeping track of this ongoing case.
