THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. COLLEEN MCEDWARDS, CNN ANCHOR: A weakening typhoon has reached China, after leaving a path of destruction and destruction on the island of Taiwan. It has killed at least 60 people on Taiwan.
We're going to get the very latest now from journalist Peggy Wang. She is in Taipai -- Peggy.
PEGGY WANG, JOURNALIST: Yes, rescue workers there are still searching for the survivors. Apparently, the current count is 61 dead, 152 missing, and 33 injured. Every hour the death toll is still rising, but for the past few hours, it has peaked off. And people are hoping that 152 missing are in fact missing.
MCEDWARDS: Peggy Wang, thanks very much for that update.
