DEBORAH MARCHINI, CNN ANCHOR: We're going to get one last preview now of some stocks you want to watch today.

Jen Rogers is live at Instinet.

JEN ROGERS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hi, Debbie.

Well, Family Dollar Stores is definitely a stock to keep your eye on -- ticker there FDO. This is the discount chain -- after the bell last night, Standard & Poor's coming out announcing an index change to the S&P 500 to take effect after the closing bell on August 3. FDO -- that again is Family Dollar Stores -- will be replacing Cabletron in the S&P 500. Cabletron will be replacing Family Dollar in the mid-cap 400.

Right now, Family Dollar Stores has not traded, but they are bid up higher -- bid up about 50 cents at $29.25. Again, they haven't traded there, but that is a bid to buy a little bit higher -- no trades yet in Cabletron.

And, finally, Intel -- we just started to see trading start in Intel, and it is up right now 26 cents. But that's just one of the few stocks we have trading -- a pretty slow start this Tuesday -- Debbie.

MARCHINI: All right, thanks a lot, Jen.

And I think we're going to go to Sasha Salama right now live at the Nasdaq to take a look at some of the stocks that are likely to move there -- hi.

SASHA SALAMA, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hi there, Deb.

We have got a couple of earnings results due after the close today. Watch out for KLA-Tencor, maker of computer chip equipment -- KLAC -- expected to earn 26 cents a share in profit.

And a profit expected as well for Priceline.com -- PCLN -- the name-your-own-price Internet site expected to earn 1 penny a share.

We're also going to be watching Expedia, the online travel company -- even though it was down in Monday's session, is expected to get a nice bounce today after it reported better-than-expected profits -- and revenues very strong as well -- the company also providing guidance, reiterating the high end of estimates for the current quarter.

We are also watching FreeMarkets, which was up in the regular session. It lost 17 cents. That was 5 cents better than the guidance the company gave in early June.

Also GlobeSpan down in the regular session Monday -- but GSPN earned 1 penny a share right in line with expectations -- the company also cutting 10 percent of its work force -- Deb.

MARCHINI: All right, thanks, Sasha.
