COLLEEN MCEDWARDS, CNN ANCHOR: Returning now to the Chandra Levy case, and the tip that her body is buried in Fort Lee, Virginia.
Joining us now from Fort Lee is CNN's national correspondent Eileen O'Connor.
Eileen, what's going on there?
EILEEN O'CONNOR, CNN NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT: Well, Colleen, the local FBI office say they are looking into the credibility and the validity of that tip. And the officials here at Fort Lee -- at the army base say they are ready to cooperate, but they do not -- neither of these agencies anticipate a search at this time.
Now, what has interested the police in Washington, D.C. and the authorities is that WeTip.com got this tip, but that there are a lot of specifics in this tip.
(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
DAVID ECKERT, WETIP.COM: It would have to be information that was known first-hand. They described the surroundings, and some details of where the body might be buried that if it was a hoax, it was quite elaborate. And they went to some lengths to describe the surrounding areas and the schedule of the way things were done in a time scenario.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
O'CONNOR: What is interesting to officials is while they get hundreds of tips, not that many are this specific. What the tip said was that the body could be buried in a parking lot at or near Fort Lee that had been under construction -- Colleen.
MCEDWARDS: CNN's Eileen O'Connor, thanks.
