PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: Right now we want to share with you a story that Natalie Pawelski put together where she talks with some of the family members who lost their loved ones on three of the hijacked airplanes. Let's listen.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
NATALIE PAWELSKI, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): In Burlington, Vermont, a special mass as a bishop grieves the death of his brother, David Angell, executive producer of the show "Frasier" on NBC. He died with his wife Lynn when their plane crashed into the World Trade Center.
BISHOP KENNETH ANGELL, VICTIM'S BROTHER: (AUDIO GAP) and I think that's how we want to remember him. He truly did. What a wonderful thing that is, to make people laugh and he did that and did it so well.
PAWELSKI: On the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania, 31-year-old Mark Bingham, a public relations executive on his way home to San Francisco. He managed to call his mother on an air phone minutes before United Flight 93 slammed into farm land.
SUSAN BAKER-WARD, VICTIM'S MOTHER: He said I want to let you know that I love you.
PAWELSKI: And in California another mother remembers her only son, 38-year-old Tim Ward, who worked for the Rubio's restaurant chain. He'd been visiting his girlfriend in Boston and was on his way home.
UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN: Just pray for all the people that are hurting and all the families and pray that our country will do something to stop these terrorists.
PAWELSKI: One more grieving mother, one of thousands whose individual grief symbolizes a nation's profound sorrow.
