CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Does that mean it could be the Snore Bowl? Oh, we hope not. But for more on the Rams punching their ticket to the Super Bowl, we're joined by Reporter Ryan Nusbickle from affiliate KMOV in St. Louis.
RYAN NUSBICKLE, KMOV REPORTER: Hi, Carol. As much as I hate to stoop to symbolism, let me just kind of turn around here for you. We're wearing the Marshall Faulk jersey this morning, as we should be. And we are here at a tee-shirt printing company. They have been working all night. These are NFC championship tee-shirts. As soon as the game was over, these guys were printing those tee-shirts out. And trust me, there are a lot of buyers.
Take a look at some video you can see from inside the Dome. Rams fans just going, well, you can say pretty much berserk. The decibel level simply deafening in the Dome. And we understand the dogs all across St. Louis were barking a lot last night. Apparently, they heard some noise.
People here are on cloud 35, which of course is the Aeneas Williams cloud. His number being 35. But it's appropriate, of course, that all these fans are now headed down to the Big Easy, because it's sort of very much a Mardi Gras atmosphere at St. Louis right now. In fact, we understand some fans may have actually jumped on some barges on the Mississippi and may be just getting a head start on the crowds. They may be arriving in New Orleans sometime this morning.
But, basically, it just feels great. This is just as exciting as it was back in '98, when the Rams came out of nowhere. Maybe even a little bit more exciting, because we totally rebuilt our defense and we just had a great year. And we ran into some Philadelphia fans who were nice; some, a little less than nice. They're headed back to the ketchup state this morning.
But here in St. Louis, obviously everyone is very excited. There have been Super Bowl tickets going on sale for the past couple of weeks. And, as you could see, there are a lot of tee-shirts going on sale this morning, and they are just cranking them out here this morning. This is a picturesque tee-shirt company in South St. Louis.
Let's send it back to you.
COSTELLO: All right. Thank you very much, Ryan. I wish I could talk to you, but you can't hear me. I wanted to hear about those Philadelphia fans being less than nice, because we all know that those Philadelphia fans can be way less than nice. They're very feisty. By the way, Las Vegas odds-makers say St. Louis will beat New England by 14 points. So it could be the Snore Bowl. We hope not.
