CHAD MYERS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Would you just like to wake up this morning and suddenly be a multi-millionaire?

CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Yes.

MYERS: It happened to three people who won a $193 million jackpot in California. Three tickets were sold. So far only one person -- no one has come forward.

Isabella Duran of our San Francisco affiliate KRON reports.

ISABELLA DURAN, KRON CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It might be tiny, but Half Moon Bay is famous for racking up the big ones. Record surf, tons of fish, Guinness book sized pumpkins. And now this, the hometown of one of California's latest lotto mega winners. And it's made a minor celebrity out of the local Albertson's, where one of three winning tickets was purchased.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: One of the three was here?

DURAN: One of them.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Marvelous.

DURAN: Representatives of the California lottery were outside just in case the stunned winner managed to pick up himself or herself off the floor and come in to claim their prize.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It's a real winning shirt.

DURAN: The $193 million jackpot ranks right up there as the biggest ever in California. Tickets were selling at $70,000 a minute before the mega winners were drawn. David Gomez won only $2, but was back at Albertson's today, hoping it was his turn to make dreams come true.

DAVID GOMEZ, TICKET BUYER: Well, I came in, it's about another 10 or 15 miles from here, where I work at. But I came over here to see if I can get lucky and win my money.

DURAN: The Half Moon Bay winner will share the jackpot with two others from California. That's over $64 million each before taxes if they choose to cash out.

(on camera): The retailer is going to get over $321,000. As for the schools, they will collect $112 million from this jackpot.

(voice-over): Albertson's' employees also got a little reminder of the store's good fortune, a T-shirt from the California lottery.

Isabelle Duran, KRON-4 News.

(END VIDEOTAPE)

MYERS: I won the lotto and all I got was this T-shirt.

COSTELLO: Now that would be depressing. Thank you, Chad.
