THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: U2 could walk on and walk away with a handful of Grammys. We're counting down to Wednesday's big award ceremony. The Irish band is up for a slew of big awards, including record, album and song of the year.
The music industry is getting ready to shine for Wednesday night's Grammys. Topping the list of nominees are -- in addition to U2 -- India.Arie and Alicia Keys.
"SPIN" Magazine's editor in chief puts his spin on the favorite picks.

ALAN LIGHT, "SPIN" MAGAZINE: U2 were the big story last year, when they won three Grammys for "Beautiful Day," the first single from the "All That You Can't Leave Behind" album. The album wasn't eligible last year. It comes up this time. And after the year they had, the most successful tour -- one of the most successful tours in history -- and an album that meant so much, especially after September 11th. It's been an astonishing run for them.
(END VIDEO CLIP)
COSTELLO: Music watchers think the trophies will be divided among many, many winners. We'll just have to see about that.
