CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: If you are flying this afternoon, boy, do we feel sorry for you. Our Air Traffic Expert Travelocity's Rally Caparas is here to tell you the bad news.
RALLY CAPARAS, AIR TRAFFIC SPECIALIST, TRAVELOCITY.COM: Yes, of course. You expected it. Chad told you the deal as far as the weather is concerned, and it's going to have a major impact on schedules later on today.

Quickly, in New York today, you will see some snow later on during the day. But the major problem, the main problem is going to be the strong gusting winds. We're going to see 20 and 30-knot winds up there, all the way down to Philly. That's going to create the biggest problem today. Expect one to two-hour delays, after we get past this clear period. Starting later on this morning, strong gusting winds and snow. One to two hours, that's optimistic, folks. So hold on to your hats in going to New York City.

Down in Atlanta, you can expect about an hour-long delay. The weather is not so bad. We have low clouds, poor visibility this morning, but it's going to stay kind of overcast for a while. And we have only three runways of our four available runways, because the lights are out on runway 8 Left. You don't care which runway, but it's going to cut down the capacity of that airport by 25 percent. Expect hour-long delays into Hartsfield for most of the day until -- well, probably until around 3:00 p.m., so stand by.

Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati-Covington, you will see some snow, some strong winds, poor visibility, 45 to 60-minute arrival and departure delays, with the de-icing of the departures, throughout the day.

Chicago O'Hare, they are on the backside of that second storm Chad has been telling you about. Expect 60 to 90-minute arrival delays, some departure delays, as a result of the low clouds. They are seeing a mix of rain and snow, and it should turn more to rain later. Actually clearing up later on this evening. Hopefully on-time schedules late.

San Francisco, under the clouds, wind, fog all day long. Expect 60, possibly 90-minute arrival delays there.

A nasty day for air travel on one of the busiest days of the week, Carol. I won't be working tomorrow, thank goodness, because it's going to be just as bad.

COSTELLO: We're going to call you. CAPARAS: Well, it'll -- the phone will be busy. See you Monday.

COSTELLO: Thank you, Rally, we appreciate it.

CAPARAS: Sure.
