CAROL COSTELLO, CNN ANCHOR: Time for a little "Business Buzz" now. Soon another bank will be pushing American Express cards.
Carrie Lee, live from the Nasdaq market site, has more on this.

Good morning -- Carrie.

CARRIE LEE, CNN FINANCIAL NEWS CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Carol.

We're talking about MBNA, which will offer American Express credit cards, marking the first time a major issuer of Visa or MasterCard credit cards will promote cards in the United States. Now the cards are expected to be rolled out this year. The cards will carry the American Express logo and be accepted on the American Express network. They are going to start in the United States.

There are still some legal issues that need to be worked out among American Express, Visa and MasterCard. But assuming this all works out, one analyst says that the MBNA deal is a large positive for American Express because they are getting their cards into more customers' hands and increasing their payment network. So that is the latest from American Express.

Also worth a quick mention, Microsoft is offering $250,000 in reward money for anyone who can help authorities find and prosecute the authors of the fast spreading My Doom virus. This is the third so far under a $5 million Microsoft program that was announced back in November, Helping Authorities Nab Virus Authors.

Also, finally, stocks to watch, Martha Stewart, as the trial continues this week. The stock has been very volatile, yesterday loosing, then gaining a lot of ground. So far on the week, Carol, shares of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, though, down 3.7 percent.

Back to you.

COSTELLO: All right. Carrie Lee, we'll catch you in the next half hour of DAYBREAK. Thank you.
