KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Now I'm being told before he's forced to evacuate we have go back to New Orleans where our Jeff Flock has been following the storm.
I understand it's raining like cats and dogs right now, Jeff.

JEFF FLOCK, CNN ANCHOR: You betcha. I'm not sure what's coming down, but it's a lot of it.

You know, earlier in the day it was just light rain but now perhaps you can see, if I'm able to show you, it's really pouring. In fact, it's actually tapered off a little bit, from its high point just a few moments ago. So really a lot of rain and of course, this is the main thing they're worried about, Kyra, is the amount of rain, a level of rain and as you point out, looks like I'm going to walk in front of you there, sorry, if you would spin back around to show the closures.

The vision is, we are told by some officials, to close now the last of the gates. You look off past the gate there, the flood wall into the French Quarter, these will be closed off, so we're going to have to -- obviously we're on the wrong side of where we need to be, so we're going to need to move on the outside, Kyra.

But that is what's going on right now, it's a good band coming in as we speak.

PHILLIPS: All right, you better take cover.

Thanks for the update.

Jeff Flock in New Orleans there, following the storm. See you.
