Suicide Bomber Kills Two Near Tel Aviv

MARTIN SAVIDGE, CNN ANCHOR: A suicide bomber blew himself up and killed at least two other people today at a shopping mall near Tel Aviv, Israel.
Our Mike Hanna, our Jerusalem bureau chief is there with more on just what is happening -- Mike.

MIKE HANNA, CNN JERUSALEM BUREAU CHIEF: Martin, Israeli police confirming that two people were killed in that explosion, eyewitnesses saying that a man detonated an explosive device outside an electrical shop in a mall in the area of (UNINTELLIGIBLE), just east of Tel Aviv. Now, police say two, that one of the dead are security guard, by his actions helped prevent the death toll from being much, much higher. The third person dead on the scene, the man that police say was the suicide bomber.

Over 20 people were injured in the blast, the majority of them reportedly receiving light injuries. Among those injured, though, said to be two infants.

A group has claimed responsibility for the attack, the group calling itself the Jerusalem Brigade, which appear to be a new group, its actual orientation unknown at this particular point. And that group says it carried out this terror attack in response to an attack earlier on in the course of a day (UNINTELLIGIBLE) incidents where two senior Hamas militants were killed when their car exploded in Nablus. Palestinians blame the Israelis, The Israeli Defense Force has declined to comment on that.

But at the police are saying, Israel police confirming two Israelis killed, more than 20 injured and yet another terror attack in an Israeli city -- Martin.
