MILES O'BRIEN, CNN ANCHOR: Which brings us to a couple of happy bookbuyers outside the Barnes & Noble there in Manhattan. Andi Texeira is on the left of your screen, and Natalie Thomas is on screen right. They waited in line for quite some time to not just get a book, but get a brief audience with Hillary Clinton and a signed copy.
Andi, was it worth the wait, first of all?
ANDI TEXEIRA, BOUGHT "LIVING HISTORY": I thought the book was great. The little bit that I saw of the book and listening to the interview last night, I was very impressed with her. She is a survivor, and one of the things that came clearly through the book is that when you're in public office, you have to be kind of a survivor. You have to make sure that you're willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that and you your family survive the experience, basically.
O'BRIEN: So that that survivor theme is a theme which kind of resonates with a lot of women, in particular.
Natalie, is that what you admire most about Hillary Clinton -- her ability to withstand all that she went through?
NATALIE THOMAS, BOUGHT "LIVING HISTORY": Actually, I admire most her courage. I admire that she caries herself very well and she's a great role model for young females such as myself.
She's been through a lot, and it's clearly -- clearly you can tell through reading her book that she has had an incredible foundation, and it's her foundation that has carried her through. And she just has this amazing aura of charming grace and compassion. And she's an incredible woman and I really admire her.
O'BRIEN: Andi, I don't know you -- I don't know if the book has an index, but did you go to the index and look up Lewinsky comma Monica and try to find all those passages right away first, or is that not what interests you?
TEXEIRA: It didn't interest me, basically.
I think that part of her life and the American public's life is over. I think we need to focus on the person who is now the senator, and she's a great senator. She's much more capable, much more educated than most former first ladies. In fact, all former first ladies. And she, like Natalie says, is giving the young people, young women particularly, a good role model to look for to -- maybe even being president.
THOMAS: Hillary Clinton is a human being just like all of us. And what we should focus on is her good works and how she's trying to inspire people, and particularly woman to be the future of tomorrow and to just being strong and confident and assertive in this society, and we should focus on the positive things rather than criticizing her for little flaws and imperfections that we all have of our own.
O'BRIEN: All right. A couple of hard-core Hillary Clinton supporters there. Enjoy. Happy reading. Let us know what you think of the book. Andi Texeira and Natalie Thomas on a very busy and noisy New York street. We appreciate you being on with us on CNN LIVE FROM today. Thank you.
