KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Authorities in Indonesia believe they've found a major clue in a deadly bombing at the JW Marriott hotel. A taxi full of explosives blew up outside the hotel lobby today, killing 10 people and wounding more than 100 others.
Jakarta bureau chief Maria Ressa joins us now from the scene with the developments -- Maria.
MARIA RESSA, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Kyra, it was nearly 13 hours since the blast happened. We're in front of the Marriott Hotel. Behind me, you can see there's still less than a hundred people have been milling around looking at the extent of the destruction. Police lines have been drawn. Roughly 40 to 50 policeman whose job is basically to keep the area from being contaminated so the forensic experts can continue their work and figure out exactly what happened.
The theory right now is a vehicle went through near the entrance, through -- moving towards the lobby, and that the explosion actually happened while the vehicle was moving. Behind me on the building, you can see the radius of the blast, the windows that have shattered. The building on the left, you can see all the windows have been shattered. It is completely dark right now. And the Marriott building itself behind me, you can see the actual outlines of the blast -- Kyra.
PHILLIPS: Maria Ressa, live from Jakarta, thank you.
