KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Well, we're waiting to hear whether a Colorado judge will unseal papers in the Kobe Bryant case. Those papers could provide a glimpse into what happened the night a hotel employee says Bryant sexually assaulted her.
CNN's Gary Tuchman joins us now live from Eagle, Colorado -- Gary.

GARY TUCHMAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Kyra, hello to you.

We know that Kobe Bryant has been charged with felony sexual assault. But because there's a gag order, because all the court files have been sealed, we don't know what the prosecution's specific allegations are against Kobe Bryant, what they're saying happened that night.

We soon may find out. The judge in this case has told us he has made a decision on whether to unseal court files, which includes the arrest warrant filed by the prosecution. However, he says he has to notify the attorneys first of his decision, finish a spellcheck on the computer to get all the orders out there, and he anticipates letting us know what his decision will be at the close of business today, or at the very latest, tomorrow morning.

Now what's notable about this is that the prosecution and the defense both say they want this to remain sealed. News media attorneys have argued before this judge that it's the public right to know. So the judge is not telling us what his decision is, but he is telling us that -- quote -- "it was an easy decision within a complicated process."

We should find out the decision perhaps as early as 5:00 local time here, which is 7:00 Eastern Time. Kyra, back to you.

PHILLIPS: All right. Gary Tuchman in Colorado, thank you.
