KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: Three killings, one rifle and a composite sketch. To the mayor of Charleston, West Virginia, that adds up to be a solvable case.
Well, the truckload of leads in last week's sniper attacks has yet to produce an arrest or even a definitive suspect.
CNN's Art Harris live from the center of the investigation -- Art.
ART HARRIS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hello, Kyra.
Just a minute ago we heard from a press conference of the task force who went over this sketch. It is based on, as we recall, the driver of the pickup truck scene at the last murder scene. And it's based on a number of witness accounts, but mainly on a woman who was standing at a pay phone just a little bit away from this truck, who noticed that the truck lingered in that parking lot at the Go-Mart a full 20 minutes before speeding away.
Now, as well, minutes ago at a news conference I asked the FBI agent in charge here about that sketch. What he said was that the sketch was someone they wanted to talk to. He wouldn't go as far as saying he was a suspect, but someone they wanted to rule out.
Also someone else not in the sketch, the sketch was a man who was presumably heavy-set with a beard. There's someone else who is tall and thin and people at one of the other murder scenes said they'd like to talk to him, too.
Anyone who saw the sketch or someone who looked like it has been asked to call the task force -- Kyra.
PHILLIPS: Art Harris, thanks so much.
