JUDY WOODRUFF, CNN ANCHOR: And now we turn back to the United States and to the Kobe Bryant case and new information from today's hearing in Eagle, Colorado.
CNN's Adrian Baschuk is there.

Adrian, what is this new information?

ADRIAN BASCHUK, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Well, Judy, a lot.

First and foremost, remember, last week's proceeding ended abruptly on Pamela Mackey's questioning the sexual past of the accuser. Let's pick it up there. Kobe Bryant just arrived back in court from his lunch break. This morning's proceedings revealed plenty of facts. First and foremost, the judge did allow part of her sexual history to be brought up in court.

The detective who interviewed the accuser said in cross- examination today that she reported to him after that first interview that she in fact had sex with another man three days before the alleged rape by Bryant took place. There was also this. The nurse that was interviewed by the detective that examined the injuries to her face and genital area, well, she could not exactly recall or say definitively as to how recent those injuries took place.

And, lastly -- and this is a key caveat -- within Colorado's key and very stringent sex crimes laws here, the outcry witness, meaning the bellhop, who took the accuser home after the alleged rape took place, he told the detective that she was definitely shaken up as he was driving her home. However, there was a female night auditor who the detectives said told him that she saw the accuser after the alleged incident took place and she seemed just fine -- Judy.

WOODRUFF: All right, Adrian, bringing us the latest from the Kobe Bryant hearings there in Eagle, Colorado -- Adrian, thank you very much.
