MILES O'BRIEN, ANCHOR: Michael Jackson says the child molestation allegations against him are predicated on a big lie. The entertainer is making that claim on his new web site.
An update now from Miguel Marquez, who is in Los Olivos, California. That's more -- you know it more as the Neverland Ranch. And that's where we find him.

Hello, Miguel.

MIGUEL MARQUEZ, CNN CORRESPONDENT: We are indeed, right near Santa Barbara, California, Miles. Good morning to you.

Mr. Jackson going on the offensive, at least virtually, launching a new web site, MJNews.us, hoping to sway public opinion back over to his side.

Speaking directly to his fans in the first entry on this web site, Mr. Jackson says in a statement "As you know the charges recently directed at me are terribly serious. They are, however, predicated on a big lie. This will be shown in court, and we'll be able to put this horrible time behind us."

The way Mr. Jackson's spokesperson envisions this web site is sort of a blog where Mr. Jackson, his spokesperson, or his attorney can put Mr. Jackson's thoughts or their own thoughts on this web site and this will be the official repository for what they say is the truth, according to them, trying to counter some of the stuff coming from the other side.

Michael Jackson's friend, Dame Elizabeth Taylor, is also stepping up to his side, saying, "I believe Michael is absolutely innocent and that he will be vindicated."

We also saw over the weekend fans around the world stepping up to support Michael Jackson.

But the charges have still not been filed officially in this. We expect those after Thanksgiving, according to the Santa Barbara district attorney's office. And his first court date is still January 9 -- Miles.

O'BRIEN: CNN's Miguel Marquez at Neverland Ranch. Thank you.
