JEFF FLOCK, CNN CORRESPONDENT: With me, Bob Heales is the private investigator who has been working with the Sjodin family. How are you, sir?
BOB HEALES, SJODIN FAMILY INVESTIGATOR: Good.

FLOCK: Have you got me there with audio? Bob Heales, we're getting these reports, the sheriff now confirming here that a shoe, Dru's shoe has been found. Also confirming information about a knife found in the trunk.

What do you know about this, and what does this tell you and the family about where we stand right now?

HEALES: It tells me they have a very strong case against Mr. Rodriguez.

FLOCK: What about how that impacts where or what with Dru?

HEALES: Well, I think we all know that a knife was probably used. That's his M.O. That's his history. And the fact that we have the knife, I look at that as better than having her out in a cornfield somewhere.

FLOCK: You're obviously very close to Allan Sjodin, Dru's dad. He's been tough through all of this. Is he aware of some of these reports and where's his head right now?

HEALES: I'm sure he is. I haven't talked to him for a while today. He's a little under the weather.

FLOCK: I can imagine. What's your next move right now? I know you've done all you can with the family, coordinate the search. You were out there all day yesterday, we appreciate your help yesterday and seeing how that unfolded. Where do you stand right now?

HEALES: Well, they're still out searching today. I have to go meet with them and look at other areas. We've been in for a while coordinating some things. I'm just going to go back up to where the group is and then flying out for just a short time I'll be back tomorrow.

FLOCK: And in terms of how this impacts this news about pieces of evidence, obviously hope, they know, is slim anyway, but how does that impact -- you think there's still a possibility, despite...

HEALES: Well, yes. I don't think there's anything here that says that she's not alive.

FLOCK: I'm going to leave it there. Bob Heales, appreciate your help and time. Thank you, Sir. Thanks for being with us on CNN. Keep us informed. Bob H-E-A-L-E-S. He's an investigator that has been working with the family, volunteered his time, and has been helping coordinate the search. Some of the pictures we showed you of the search yesterday Bob was coordinating that search out there.
