DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: We want to check on a developing story that's out of California, search teams returning to San Francisco Bay and the Laci Peterson case. Police are hoping to find weights used to weigh down her body, and could be used in the trial against her husband, Scott, who was charged in the murder of Laci and their unborn child.
Our Mike Brooks at the water's edge of San Francisco Bay, and joins us now with more.
Mike -- good morning.
MIKE BROOKS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hello, Daryn.
We're back at Point Isabel. Divers will be back in the waters of the San Francisco Bay momentarily. They have arrived back here where they left yesterday. The dive boats are back on point. Yesterday at about 1:15 local, they had to get out of water because of high winds and heavy seas, but they did leave two orange buoys as their point of reference, and they're back out there this morning.
They'll be working with two teams of technologists using side scan sonar. So, hopefully they'll be able to find something today.
Sources have told us that they're going to be here until at least Friday in hopes of finding possible anchors that were used to weight Laci Peterson's body down when she was thrown into the San Francisco Bay -- Daryn.
KAGAN: All right, Mike Brooks, it looks like we're not going to be able to get any questions in there, having some trouble with his ear piece, but we will get him back next hour perhaps and get our questions in to him.
