DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Florida police are getting NASA's help in the search for a missing middle school girl.
Our John Zarrella is keeping watch on the Carlie Brucia case and that is in Sarasota, Florida.

John, good morning. John Zarrella. John, you're on.

JOHN ZARRELLA, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Yes, Daryn.

What we know right now at this point in time is that the big key, the most precious piece of evidence that the investigators are waiting for is waiting for that video enhancement. Now they still don't have that. Not sure exactly when they will get that. The FBI and NASA are working to further enhance the tape.

What they have been able to get so far from that video is that the man's -- the name on that -- on his breast appears to be three letters, maybe four letters, but they can't get a clear enough picture to see exactly what it is. And also that he has tattoos on both of his arms.

Now, clearly Carlie has now been missing for more than 60 hours. It is getting more and more of a frantic, desperate search for the girl. And very, very, as you might expect, traumatic for her mother.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

SUSAN SCHORPEN, CARLIE BRUCIA'S MOTHER: I'm pleading, anyone with any information from my daughter, Carlie, her name is Carlie Jane (ph) Brucia. I love you. I need her home. I'm begging and pleading, please help me bring my daughter home.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ZARRELLA: Now they are saying, both the family and the authorities here, that they are absolutely certain that they don't know who the abductor is and that Carlie does not know who the abductor is. But the Federal Bureau of Investigation is saying that it will really be key to them when they can get that enhanced video out.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CARL WHITEHEAD, FBI SPECIAL AGENT: We are working with NASA in reference to enhancing the video. We also have our laboratory in Washington, D.C. that's also working on it. So it's a simultaneous effort to try to get the best enhancement as we possibly can and hopefully later we'll be able to, as the sheriff indicated, to share that with you.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

ZARRELLA: Now the question of course is when will they get that enhanced videotape out? And the hope is that it will be out some time today. That's what they're working for and towards, because they realize that with every passing minute that they don't get that enhanced image out, they can't get a picture of this man out to the public. And they know that that may be the key to solving what is becoming a growing, growing mystery here and a very terrible and tragic experience for the family of Carlie Brucia -- Daryn.

KAGAN: Thank you for that, John Zarrella in Florida.
