MICHAEL OKWU, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, everyone. I am Michael Okwu in New York.
Women rocked Hollywood all over the weekend, where reproductive rights was the cause celeb. Musicians including Melissa Etheridge joined M.C. Gillian Anderson for a concert benefiting the pro-choice organization Rock For Choice. Sarah McLachlan and Paula Cole were also among the stars out to raise awareness of what the organization calls -- quote -- "the impending threat to abortion rights posed by President Bush." "

MELISSA ETHERIDGE, MUSICIAN: I think, when it comes right down to it, at the end of the day, government should stay out of women's bodies -- the end.
PAULA COLE, MUSICIAN: It's an important cause to me, you know, ever since -- in college, I road one of those buses and went down to D.C. And I marched. You know, this is an important cause. I am 33. I want a family. It doesn't apply to me now. I'm a wealthy white female, you know?
(LAUGHTER)
COLE: But we have to take the responsibility to reach out and help those disenfranchised women, those women that don't have access.

OKWU: In movie theaters this weekend, a few new entries broke into the box office, but, still, most eyes were on a family of spies.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I think that it's up to us. You with me?
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: OK.

OKWU (voice-over): Those clever "Spy Kids" held onto first place again this weekend. The family flick about a brood of junior James Bonds brought in an estimated $17.8 million in its second weekend. A sequel is in the works for next year. After "Spy Kids" came "Along Came a Spider." The movie, based on the James Patterson novel, crept into second place, with an estimated $17.1 million in its debut.
The thriller stars Morgan Freeman and Monica Potter as investigators trailing a killer. Next up was "Blow," Hollywood's depiction of the cocaine-trafficking career of George Jung. Johnny Depp plays the drug-dealer in the picture. "Blow" landed in third place in its debut, with an estimated $12.5 million.
The "Pokemon" characters still won't quit. The latest big-screen installment, "Pokemon 3," collected an estimated $9.2 million in its first weekend. And movie audiences were still looking for "Someone Like You." The romantic comedy starring Ashley Judd, Greg Kinnear and Hugh Jackman earned an estimated $5.5 million for fifth place.

OKWU: That's "Showbiz Today Reports" for this hour, but we'll be back at 11:35 a.m. Eastern Time with more of the weekend's big movies. I'm Michael Okwu, reporting from New York.
