THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. MONTY MORRIS: Hello, my name is Monty Morris. I'm from Marietta. And my question is: What is a typical day like for a first lady?
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
CANDY CROWLEY, CNN SR. POLITICAL CORRESPONDENT: There's not really a typical day for any first lady, particularly one that's only in the first two months of an administration, where you're getting settled in and trying to figure where the kitchen is and which hallway leads where.
But having said that, this first lady is very interested in education and has, in the first two months of this Bush administration, done a lot of traveling to schools to push a teacher recruitment initiative that she is very keen on.
LAURA BUSH, FIRST LADY: A lot of people have left teaching because it's so difficult. It's a very, very challenging profession. But I hope young people will start thinking about it again as a profession.
CROWLEY: As far as we know, one of the traditions of the Bush household remains intact, and that is that President Bush and when he was governor, Governor Bush gets up in the morning to make the coffee and he brings it to the first lady in bed. As far as we know, that tradition still continues.
