LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: Nepal now has a new king. Nine members of the royal family are dead from gunshot wounds, and the public is demanding some answers.
CNN's Kasra Naji is on the phone from Nepal. He joins us now with the very latest -- Kasra.
KASRA NAJI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Leon, a quiet funeral has been held here for the crown prince, Diprenda, who died of his injuries earlier today. Quiet because a curfew has been imposed here, keeping at home many people who wanted to take a last glimpse of his body today.
The curfew was imposed about four hours ago at the end of a long day of running battles within the police and demonstrators; demonstrators who want to know of the full story of how the entire royal family was wiped out, shot dead. Earlier, also, we have Crown Prince Gyanendra, who is a cousin of Crown Prince Dipendra, being named, enthroned as the country's third king in four days.
But also on the streets, when you talk to many people, many are saying that they won't accept the new king as their unless and until they are told the full truth, the full story about the massacre at the palace, who killed the royal family and why -- Leon.
HARRIS: Kasra Naji reporting live this morning from Nepal. Thank you.
