DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: We are going to start on this Friday morning with a new development in the Chandra Levy investigation. CNN has learned that Congressman Gary Condit has had yet another interview with authorities.

Our Jonathan Karl is following developments in Washington and he joins us now with the latest -- Jonathan, good morning.

JOHN KING, CNN SR. WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Daryn.

This was Congressman Gary Condit's fourth interview with law enforcement on this matter. It was an interview that included both the D.C. police and the FBI, and we do know that it lasted two hours. He left, last night he left the House of Representatives, went and did this interview and actually came back up to Capitol Hill afterwards. And we do know that the FBI had been working on putting together a psychological profile of Chandra Levy and that was on the agenda for this interview. But we also know D.C. police went into this interview with questions about Gary Condit's time line and exactly where he was on the day that Chandra Levy disappeared way back on May 1.

So this was described by law enforcement sources as a broad investigative interview that both looked into the psychological profile of Chandra Levy and also into Gary Condit's actions -- Daryn.

KAGAN: Jonathan Karl on, in Washington, thank you very much. We'll check back with you in a little bit -- Stephen.
