STEPHEN FRAZIER, CNN ANCHOR: We're going to spend some time talking about the Chandra Levy case and a fourth police interview for Congressman Gary Condit.

For the latest on the investigation and on the deepening political ripples on Capitol Hill today, let's turn to CNN congressional correspondent Jonathan Karl -- Jonathan, good morning again.

JONATHAN KARL, CNN CONGRESSIONAL CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Stephen.

Last night Gary Condit, the California Democrat, sat down for his fourth interview with law enforcement on the Chandra Levy case. It's been described by law enforcement sources as a broad investigative interview that included both the D.C. police and the FBI. And what we knew going into this interview was that the FBI had questions about Chandra Levy's psychological makeup. They're putting together a psychological profile of Levy to try to get clues as to what might have happened to her. And we also know the D.C. police had some very specific questions about Gary Condit's own conduct, including the time line of exactly where he was and what he did on May 1 and May 2, the day Chandra Levy disappeared and the day after she disappeared.

So we know those were two of the items on the agenda.

Meanwhile, that interview happened last night. Condit left Capitol Hill, went up, did this interview. It lasted about two hours. Came back to the Capitol. He's back up here again this morning. I think we have live pictures we can show of the Agriculture hearing. There is Gary Condit, again, the number two Democrat on the House Agriculture Committee. He has been throughout this process attending virtually every Committee hearing, going to every vote, but the political pressure on Gary Condit does continue to increase here on Capitol Hill.

Last night on CNN's "WOLF BLITZER REPORTS," another member of Congress, a Colorado Republican from the House, came forward and said that Gary Condit should resign.

REP. SCOTT MCINNIS (R), COLORADO: I used to be a cop. We would have had him down at the police station and we would have been grilling him with questions, why he was allowed to delay for that period of time and on his own volition delayed coming forward to try and so-called -- as his attorney says -- assist the police, that's what is, in my opinion, reprehensible. There is a missing girl here. And now we learn today that there is another intern who was his intern who now alleges that he had an affair with her as well.

I mean the police and the Ethics Committee and the Congress need to get right to the bottom of this so that we don't allow any more damage to the institution.

KARL: Now, one important point to make, Stephen, is you just heard Congressman McInnis say that there was a second intern. He's talking about Joleen McKay, who was actually not an intern for Gary Condit, but was a staffer in her early '20s who has said that she also had an affair with Gary Condit. No office, no comment from his office on that. And we should also point out that Chandra Levy was an intern not for Gary Condit, but at the Bureau of Prisons, a 24-year-old intern making $27,000 a year -- back to you, Stephen.

FRAZIER: On Capitol Hill, Jonathan Karl. Jonathan, thank you.
