DONNA KELLEY, CNN ANCHOR: The party still goes on, and we still get to visit with Laurin some more. That's the good news.
LAURIN SYDNEY, CNN CORRESPONDENT: That's right.
KELLEY: I thought we went through it. Sorry, Laurin.
SYDNEY: That's OK. And the bad news is we do have some more disturbing details today about singer Mariah Carey. Yesterday at this time we reported that the hospitalized singer had suffered from an emotional and physical breakdown. Today "People" magazine reports that Carey had problems on the set of the recently completed film, "Wise Girls."
"People" quotes a producer of the film as saying Carey and co- star Mira Sorvino got into a fight and ended up wrestling on the floor. Carey has canceled all public appearances, including promotions for her new movie "Glitter."
But Donna and Leon, right before we went on the air today we heard from Mariah's spokesperson, who is Cindy Berger. And she said, quote: "It was not a physical fight, it was a verbal one." And she put no credence into the "People" magazine story.
KELLEY: OK, Laurin Sydney thanks.
LEON HARRIS, CNN ANCHOR: Good deal. All right, thanks Laurin. We'll see you later.
