DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: Now to some new millionaires. Most of the winners in the $295 million Powerball jackpot haven't come forward, but a man in Kentucky is ready to share his share of the prize. Winning tickets were also sold in Minnesota, Delaware and New Hampshire.

And New Hampshire is where we happen to find our Patty Davis. She's in Rollingsford (ph), New Hampshire with the latest.

Patty, you hobnobbing with any millionaires there?

PATTY DAVIS, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Have we seen millionaires, did you ask me? Not yet today. In fact, over the weekend into today, the winner has not yet stepped forward. In Kentucky, 46-year-Old David Edwards says he spent just $7 to win his share of a quarter share of the jackpot state of Kentucky, though the lottery commission there has not yet verified that winner.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DAVID EDWARDS, POWERBALL WINNER: At the time I had only three more unemployment checks left, and I didn't have any medical insurance, and I needed an operation on my back, and I was against the wall, I was desperate, yes literally. I've been laid off in telecommunications market now about three months, and so I only had three more checks coming in. Didn't know what I was going to do after that, and so hope at that point was, hey, why not, it's up to $280 million, let's give it a shot.

I always pick, like, anniversaries, birthdays, things like that. I did that on the first three lines, and then on the fourth line, I decided to look at the numbers and let the numbers sort of pick me, and as I've looked down at the numbers, whatever would come to mind, that's what I picked, and that's what I ended up winning on.

I'll put some back for the kids. Shanna (ph) has a couple of boys. I have a little girl, and all of us are going to get to go to college.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I'm getting a Ferrari.

EDWARDS: She's getting a Ferrari.

(END VIDEO CLIP) DAVIS: Now Edwards and his fiancee aren't the only happy ones, so is Clark's shop, at Pump And Shop in Ashland. That's where Edwards says he brought the ticket. If that's the case, that shop gets $450, 000.

Now behind me is where the winning ticket was sold. This is Cumberland Farms Convenience Store in Rollington, New Hampshire. This store did sell the winning ticket here in New Hampshire, gets only $30,000. That's the cap under state law. Now lottery officials say they're anxiously awaiting the winner to come forward in New Hampshire as well as members of the media and members of this small town. Only about 4,200 people here in this small town. Can't believe it happened here. The winner of this ticket here in this town will get 74 million. That could either be a lump son, $41 million in cash, or $2.9 million over 25 years. Not bad either way you take it, Daryn.

KAGAN: Patty, as I understand it, a quirk in the rules of the lottery in New Hampshire. You actually could have been standing next to that new millionaire this morning and didn't know it and will never know it?

DAVIS: That's true. In New Hampshire, the rules are that the winner can come forward in the form of a trust and remain anonymous. That has not happened yet. In fact, the lottery officials tell us that no one has come forward yet, but it could be that we'll never know the identity of the winner here in New Hampshire -- Daryn.

KAGAN: Congratulations to whomever it is out there. Patty Davis, thank you so much.
