LOUIS FAJARDO, BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: My name is Louis Fajardo and I'm from Boston, Massachusetts. And I wanted to ask CNN if you suspect you've been in contact with anthrax, is there anything you can use to clean or kill the anthrax spores?

ELIZABETH COHEN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: If you suspect you've been exposed to anthrax, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that you don't try to clean it up yourself. Instead, the CDC says if you suspect that you've received an envelope contaminated with anthrax that you don't shake it or sniff it or show it to others. Instead, they say, put it on a stable surface, alert others nearby, leave the area and close the door.

The CDC says that you should then wash your hands with soap and water, which will prevent spreading anthrax further. Finally, you should call your local law enforcement agency, which will take it from there.
