PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: And as we move up on just about, what is it, six minutes before the hour, I don't want to make you guys late for work - yes that is correct. We are joined by Jack, who is going to open up a "Cafferty File" for us this morning.
JACK CAFFERTY, CNN ANCHOR: I didn't even know we had one of those, but I guess ...
ZAHN: Well we're creating it today.
CAFFERTY: ... but I guess we do.
ZAHN: You can name it anything you want Jack.
CAFFERTY: A file is ...
ZAHN: Do you like that?
CAFFERTY: ... a file is something you use to get out of jail. This is - this is not a big deal. But we were talking yesterday while you were away about the slump in advertising that across the country because of the recession, 9/11, all these other things, advertising spending has dropped way down.
I open up the "Wall Street Journal" this morning and on page two of the "Wall Street Journal" is this ad. Elvis Presley 25th Anniversary Tennessee State Quarter Tribute.
ANDERSON COOPER, CNN ANCHOR: (UNINTELLIGIBLE) page two?
CAFFERTY: Page two of the "Wall Street Journal", so they're getting a little hungry over there.
ZAHN: What are we selling here?
CAFFERTY: We're selling a bonafied, genuine from the U.S. mint, United States currency (UNINTELLIGIBLE) quarter - 25-cent piece with a picture of old what's his name on there, Elvis. This would warm the cockles of Tom Parker's heart. That was Presley's manager who never saw anything he couldn't sell for an inflated price. This 25-cent coin ...
ZAHN: Cost how much?
CAFFERTY: ... can be yours for 9.95 and $3 for postage and handling. That's a quarter ...
COOPER: But there is a limit ...
ZAHN: But Jack ...
COOPER: ... there is a limit of three ...
CAFFERTY: Yes you can only get three.
ZAHN: Yes, I was going to say hey ...
CAFFERTY: For 50 bucks you can add 75 cents.
COOPER: Right.
CAFFERTY: Or give or take. I mean how much does it cost to mail a quarter? It's a quarter.
ZAHN: I know.
(CROSSTALK)
ZAHN: Well that's why they can afford to advertise on page two in the "Wall Street Journal".
CAFFERTY: I just thought it was kind of silly.
COOPER: If it was the older Elvis, I'd buy it. You know, like the Elvis in Hawaii.
CAFFERTY: The big fat Elvis.
COOPER: Yes.
CAFFERTY: The drug addicted Elvis.
ZAHN: Well you know ...
CAFFERTY: Don't write. Don't call - it's a joke - it's just a joke.
COOPER: That's right.
CAFFERTY: Don't e-mail that guy is terrible. I - where did you get him?
ZAHN: I like the way he looked on that quarter.
CAFFERTY: No, this is a good shot.
ZAHN: Yes, it's very flattering.
CAFFERTY: OK.
ZAHN: Very (UNINTELLIGIBLE) yours for 9.95.
CAFFERTY: So that's the "file" situation.
ZAHN: All right.
