THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED. PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: In Brooklyn, our colleague, Michael Okwu, is standing by a firehouse devastated by the 9/11 attacks -- good morning, Michael.
MICHAEL OKWU, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning, Paula.
You can hear that right now that they are doing a sound check of the alarm system here. When you look back at September 11 and consider September 11 and this city's fire department, there are 343 separate stories. That's how many firefighters lost their lives as a result of the attacks on the World Trade Center.
Sadly, so many of those individual stories will never be told. I had the opportunity of being able to tell six, six stories of six men from one squad -- Paula.
ZAHN: Thank you, Michael.
