JACK CAFFERTY, CNN ANCHOR: Let's get one more visit with Anderson Cooper who is at the auto show, over at the Javits Center, home of the hot wheels. What's up, kiddo?

ANDERSON COOPER, CNN ANCHOR: Well, Jack, I know you have been wanting to see the Lamborghini all morning. We're going to show it to you in just a second, but first we are going to start with another supercar, the only American-made supercar in existence. I'm joined now by Mark Schienberg, the president of the New York International Auto Show.

What is this car?

MARK SCHIENBERG, PRESIDENT, NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW: Well, it is an American-built supercar. This is the only American- built supercar.

COOPER: It is called the Saleen.

SCHIENBERG: And it is called the Saleen. It is made in the United States. It is a V-8. It goes for about $400,000. It is quite fast. It has about 550 horsepower, and will go from 0-60 in about three and a half seconds.

COOPER: That's amazing. Zero to 60 in under four seconds. This one is about $400,000?

SCHIENBERG: About $400,000, and they plan on selling about 100 a year for the next four years.

COOPER: Jack, I think I can get it for you for about 395. Now, I am about to show you the Lamborghini. I know you have been wanting -- I got to tell you, the Saleen, though is pretty nice.

This is the Lamborghini. Tell me a little bit about it. This is the first Lamborghini made in ten years -- the first new Lamborghini.

SCHIENBERG: It is the first new model that they have come out in ten years. It is a beautiful car. It goes for about 273, so compared to Saleen, this is a steal.

COOPER: It's a bargain.

SCHIENBERG: That's -- absolutely.

COOPER: And goes about as fast, right?

SCHIENBERG: About as fast, 580 horsepower and about zero to 60 in about three and a half seconds again.

COOPER: All right, Mark Schienberg, thanks very much for joining us.
