PAULA ZAHN, CNN ANCHOR: Now we're going to move on to Charles Feldman, who covered the capture of 21-year-old suspect Luke Helder.

Charles joins us from Reno now with the very latest on what led the FBI to the arrest of this young man -- good morning, Charles.

CHARLES FELDMAN, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Good morning to you, Paula.

And Mr. Helder is being held behind me here in the jail in Reno, Nevada. He was apprehended last night right on Interstate 80. They were following his Honda automobile. The car, by the way, is also in the forensics lab, which is in this building, too, and it's being gone over, I can assure you, with a fine-tooth comb.

Mr. Helder is a 21-year-old, he just turned 21 years old, native of Minnesota, but is a student at the University of Wisconsin and he also takes part there in a rock band -- they call it a garage rock band -- called Apathy.

What's likely to happen today, Paula, here is an arraignment. I'm told they've got 72 hours from the time of the arrest for the arraignment. But it is very likely that it will happen some time either this morning or early afternoon because it's a high profile case.

I'm told he may not actually leave the jail here to go downtown to the courthouse. The arraignment may be done by video conferencing. We'll know more about that, I think, a little bit later -- Paula.

ZAHN: Charles, I know you spent most of the night driving to where you are, but have investigators told you anything else about what led them to tracking down this guy?

FELDMAN: I've got to tell you honestly that most of the investigators that would know anything are right now asleep.

ZAHN: As they should be. I think they worked many hours around the clock on this one.

Charles Feldman, thanks for the update.

FELDMAN: Right.

ZAHN: And maybe we'll let you get some of that, as well, a little bit later on today.
