DARYN KAGAN, CNN ANCHOR: We're going to look at President Bush. He now has apparently a war plan targeting Iraq's Saddam Hussein. General Tommy Franks delivered it yesterday. Franks would lead any such war plan, but there is no indication when or if Mr. Bush is about to decide how to oust the Iraqi leader.
The president has discussed a regime change in Iraq, but he says several tactics are still being considered.
Well, Saddam Hussein is no stranger to threats from the U.S. So, is he taking this latest threat in stride?
Let's check in with Rym Brahimi. She has the perspective from Baghdad -- Hello, Rym.
RYM BRAHIMI, CNN CORRESPONDENT: Hi there.
Well, here in Baghdad there's been no official reaction yet to either President Bush's comments or to U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan's statements. You know, the Iraqi officials don't actually respond to statements made through the media, so they're going to be probably waiting for Secretary General Kofi Annan to respond to them in writing before they reply to that.
The press has been reacting a lot, of course, but that's all we have for now here.
KAGAN: Rym Brahimi reporting from Baghdad.
Rym, thank you very much.
Well, the United States apparently isn't the only nation concerned about Saddam Hussein. Israel is also preparing for the possibility of a biological weapons attack from Iraq. An official says that Israel has enough smallpox vaccine for its entire population and another 300,000 people. But there's no decision to begin immunizing Israel's six million residents.
